Khulna, 2nd Port City of Bangladesh

Khulna is the 3rd largest (after Dhaka and Chittagong) and 2nd port city (after Chittagong) of Bangladesh. This city is known as an industrial city and located in southern part of Bangladesh, on the bank of Rupsha river. A huge part of world's largest mangrove forest Sunderban is located in Khulna which is declared a world heritage site by UNESCO.

Khulna is a calm and quiet city with an area of 59.57 square km and population of 1.6 million. This city has two  Universities known as Khulna University (KU) and Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET).
